This long-established company supplies essential business information to all sectors of business. The paid-for web service is constantly updated with the latest information on relevant business sectors. I research and write commissioned sector reports. This sees me researching, interviewing CEO's and writing in-depth reports on topics such as New Motor Vehicle Sales, Call Centres and Business Process Outsourcing, Advertising, Pulp and Paper Board Manufacturing or the Manufacture of Fertiliser and Nitrogen compounds.

Wilgro Hair

Wilgro hair is an all-natural product that assists men, women and children of any ethnic origin with thinning or hair loss issues. When Wilgro created a website, I wrote the home page. Since then we have developed a relationship involving an entire strategic rebranding process, brand print, new look and feel, packaging, brochures, inserts and adverts, to give the product quality the upmarket image it deserves.

This shop in Waterfall, KZN specialises in beautiful framing, including specialist archival framing, box framing, mirrors and tapestries. The quality is exceptional and the finish is perfect. Ogilvy and East Coast Radio

After leaving Ogilvy to pursue my own interests, the Durban agency commissioned me to work on the East Coast Radio client. East Coast Radio, Durban's No. 1 radio station, used my writing skills to rework their media sales kit going out to all potential radio advertising clients.

Property on the Beach

A realty company that is, literally, on the beach in Ballito, decided to move out quickly from a large corporate umbrella and go on their own. The first port of call was a website that I wrote and conceptualised. The site is content-managed so that the company can update their properties regularly.

Lee-Chem Laboratories

As a past marketing manager at Lee-Chem I have worked on all the depilatory brands they manufacture, package, brand and market for the consumer, pharmacy and beauty salon markets. The brands are Mandy's, Julienne, Salon Specifics and Blue Steel Sports. Recently, I assisted in creating research material for a new men's grooming product aimed at the black market in South Africa.

Longlife GSAS

An insurance company software developed by Sesalos is revolutionising the way that death insurance is administrated in South Africa, including in the most rural of areas. I wrote the software manual for those setting up a computer and software and therafter managing an insurance branch.

Sutherlands Furniture

Sutherlands manufacture, import and sell beautiful home furniture and accessories. The company is undergoing national expansion and is interested in strong differentiation through brand creation, using TV as the vehicle. I have conceptualised and written a TV script that will be produced, shot and edited for flighting in the first half of 2009. I am the writer, creative director and producer of the TV spot.

I have had the privilege of working with the owner and marketer in the development of their next venture, La Scarpetta, a total experience of vibe, music, taste and culture. I collaborated on the La Scarpetta creative concept and the future of the business through sponsorship proposals

Supplying professional photographers, artists and interior designers with flawless canvas prints, Art Incentive are also undergoing a rebranding process. The small business has grown and flourished and needs to reflect the move to high-end suppliers for true art professionals. We have created a strategy and are working on a revamped logo, website and email newsletter and education system to photographers.

Zoe-Life is a capacity-building organisation that enables people to live to their highest potential - free from hindrance, prejudice or disease.
Their incredible work in helping HIV/Aids sufferers and communities by outsourcing clinical work to free up resources has meant that they needed a new website look and feel to reflect their changing work and status. I supplied all the copy for the new website. This site will be live end January 2009.

A travel company that specialises in wellness travel for discerning customers, City of Choice used the Virtuoso product to find out where they were with their internet presence. After establishing how to continue through SEO and increased usability, the Virtuoso report findings resulted in a total web rewrite. I have since also written cultural tour itineraries and we are working on brochures and other marketing material.

AllQuip is an established tool hire company in Gauteng and Durban that hires tools to the construction industry and also to private DIY'ers. I wrote and designed flyers and ads for local newspapers. We are also in the process of creating a comprehensive brochure that is more than just a product showcase but a reference tool for those in the construction industry.
